This policy is effective as of 22 June 2025. Welcome to ClientPort! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the ClientPort website(s), our APIs, web application (the "Services"), and any features, content, and services offered on or through the Services (collectively, the "Content"). By using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Services. 1. Description of Service ClientPort is a professional client portal platform designed for freelancers and agencies to manage projects, share files, and communicate with clients. The service includes: - Client management tools - Project tracking capabilities - File sharing and storage - Client portals accessible via unique links - Email notifications and updates 2. Account Registration and Security To use ClientPort, you must: - Register for an account using a valid email address - Provide accurate and complete information - Maintain the security of your account credentials - Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access - Be responsible for all activities under your account 3. Service Plans and Limitations ClientPort offers multiple service tiers: - Free Plan: Up to 2 clients and 3 projects - Starter Plan: Up to 5 clients and 10 projects ($9/month) - Pro Plan: Up to 25 clients and 50 projects ($19/month) - Studio Plan: Unlimited clients and projects ($39/month) Exceeding plan limits will require upgrading to continue creating new clients or projects. 4. User Content and Data You retain all rights to the content you upload to ClientPort. By using our service, you grant us a limited license to: - Store and backup your content - Display content to authorized users (you and your clients) - Process content for service functionality We will NOT: - Access your content except for support or legal requirements - Share your content with third parties - Use your content for marketing without permission 5. Client Portal Access Client portals are accessed via unique, secure tokens. You are responsible for: - Sharing portal links only with intended recipients - Managing client access appropriately - Ensuring clients understand their limited access rights 6. Acceptable Use Policy You agree NOT to: - Use the service for illegal activities - Upload malicious files or code - Attempt to breach security measures - Harass or harm other users - Violate intellectual property rights - Exceed storage or usage limits excessively 7. Payment and Billing - Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance - Payments are processed securely through LemonSqueezy - You can cancel your subscription at any time - No refunds for partial months - Free plan users can upgrade at any time 8. Service Availability While we strive for 99.9% uptime, we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for: - Scheduled maintenance - Force majeure events - Third-party service failures - Internet connectivity issues 9. Privacy and Data Protection We take your privacy seriously. Intellectual Property ClientPort and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by ClientPort and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. 11. Limitation of Liability To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClientPort shall not be liable for: - Loss of data or content - Loss of business or profits - Indirect or consequential damages - Damages exceeding the amount paid in the last 12 months 12. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ClientPort from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from: - Your use of the service - Your violation of these Terms - Your violation of any rights of another party 13. Termination We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for: - Breach of these Terms - Non-payment of fees - Illegal or harmful activities - Extended period of inactivity Upon termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. 14. Modifications to Service We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for significant changes. 15. Governing Law These Terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Norway. For users outside Norway, you may also have rights under your local consumer protection laws. 16. Updates to Terms We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or service notifications. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. 17.
